According to a survey on subscription video on demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2021 in Singapore, 39 percent of respondents stated that they were intending to cancel subscriptions to SvoD streaming services in the next three months because there were nothing left on the platform that they wanted to watch. The price increase was the next popular reason for canceling subscriptions.
