In a survey from 2021, respondents from Denmark who buy vegetarian food daily or at least sporadically were asked what is most important to them when buying plant-based products. That year, most Danes (67 percent) named good taste as the main factor, followed by 48 percent saying that a reasonable price is important as well, and 45 percent mentioning sustainability labels for such products.
