Most popular plant-based food product types in China 2021, by consumer age
According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2021, around 86 percent of 16 to 24 year-old respondents in China who had consumed plant-based food said they had tried plant-based milk made of soy, rice, almond, oat or other alternatives. Meanwhile, 81 percent of respondents above 54 years old confirmed this statement.
