Share of establishments with mentally unwell absent employees Japan 2021, by industry
As of October 2021, around 33.5 percent of the business establishments in the Japanese electricity, gas, heat supply, and water industry recorded employees being absent due to mental health problems for a month or longer within the past year. At the same time, about 12 percent of those establishments engaged in information and communication had employees resigning for being mentally unwell.
