Ghana: proximity of banks by area 2021

As of 2021, 85 percent of urban residential structures in Ghana were located within two kilometers of banks. This was significantly higher than the proximity of banks to rural communities. In rural areas, 12 percent of residential structures were two kilometers away from a banking institution. Overall, in Ghana, 18 percent of residents could reach a bank within the said distance.
