Ghana: leading banks by capital 2021

In 2021, Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) was the leading banking service provider in Ghana in terms of tier 1 capital, as it reached a value of 346 million U.S. dollars. The financial institution was also one of the leading banks with respect to the number of bank branches in the country as of June 2020. Moreover, Ecobank Ghana followed with tier 1 capital amounting to 324 million U.S. dollars, as of 2020.
