Decision Lab in Vietnam in 2021, around 34.4 percent of the Vietnamese esports audience stated that it was likely for them to purchase technology products recommended by gamer key leader opinions (KOLs) they followed. Meanwhile, over 25 percent of them were very likely to do so. Product categories irrelevant to gaming, such as food & beverages and clothing also gained interest among these respondents when advertised by KOLs.
