Between July and August 2020, anti-vaccination Instagram accounts had the largest increase in audience size with approximately 620,933 new followers. This accounts for 42 percent of anti-vaccination follower growth across the social media platforms assessed. Although Facebook was the leading platform for anti-vaccination content overall, total growth of followers was significantly lower than Instagram for this selected time period.
