Global gaseous state natural gas exports 2015-2022, by country
Canada is the world's leading exporter of natural gas in gaseous state. In 2022, Canada exported over 82 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gaseous state natural gas. This figure represents an increase of roughly four thousand cubic meters in comparison to 2015. The U.S. ranked second although it saw a drastic increase in the export volume of natural gas in the gaseous state, from 43 bcm in 2015 to 72 bcm in 2022. During the same year, the U.S. was the top importer country of gaseous state natural gas.
