Share of French people having ever had homosexual intercourse 2021, by generation
In 2021, 86 percent of people surveyed in France reported never having had a sexual relationship with a person of the same sex. On the other hand, while heteronormativity in sexual relations still predominates, it appears that it is less prevalent among French people between the ages of 25 and 40 . In fact, 14 percent of respondents in this age group has already had homosexual relations, compared to one in ten among 60-74 year olds.
