A survey conducted about Ramadan in Indonesia in 2022 found that the majority of respondents would be eating freshly-cooked meals for both suhoor, the early-morning meal before fasting starts, and iftar, the fast-breaking meal at the end of the day. The second most-consumed type of food during the Ramadan mealtimes was instant noodles.
