
Electricity consumption in Morocco 2020, by sector
The consumption of electricity within the industrial sector in Morocco amounted to around 5.5 billion kilowatt hours in 2020. In the same year, the agricultural sector consumed 1.9 billion kilowatt hours of electricity for animal husbandry, crop production, and fishery activities. The tertiary sector - including real estate, trade, transport, education, tourism, health, and telecommunication - accounted for approximately 1.4 billion kilowatt hours of electricity consumed.
