Breakdown of service outsourcing in China 2016-2020, by service type

ITO (information technology outsourcing) was China's largest service outsourcing category in 2020, making up more than 45 percent of the total execution value. Nevertheless, the share of ITO saw a gradual decrease since 2016, whereas the percentage of KPO (knowledge process outsourcing) climbed from 30.7 percent in 2016 to 34.1 percent in 2020.
