First round results of the presidential elections in Nouvelle-Aquitaine 2022
After a rather short campaign, the first round of the presidential elections were held in France on April 10th, 2022. In the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the incumbent president and the far-right candidate came in first and second, with scores of 27.64 percent and 22.8 percent of the votes cast. Third place went to the left-wing candidate, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, with 19.92 percent of the votes cast.
