This graph depicts the proportion of registered voters who voted in the presidential elections in France between 1965 and 2022, by round. It appears that 1974 was the presidential election with the highest voter turnout. That year, 87,33 percent of French people voted and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing won the election against François Mitterrand.
