Japan: ratio of eating out alone among female restaurant goers by age 2021

In a survey conducted in November 2021 in Japan, 41.3 percent of women in their fifties who regularly ate at restaurants stated that they usually eat out alone. This was the cohort with the highest ratio of solitary dining out habits. According to the survey results, men tended to eat out alone more often than women.
