Global bentonite production volume 2016-2020
In 2020, the global production of bentonite amounted to some 20.85 million metric tons. This represents a decline of roughly four percent in comparison to the previous year, when the worldwide output of bentonite reached its highest value since at least 2016, at some 21.8 million metric tons.
