Global bentonite production volume 2020, by country
In 2020, the country with the largest output of bentonite was China, at approximately 5.6 million metric tons. The United Stated ranked second, with a production volume of some 4.2 million metric tons. That same year, the global production of bentonite reached 20.85 million metric tons worldwide.
