Japan: milk drinking frequency 2021

The majority of consumers in Japan drank milk on a weekly basis as revealed in a survey conducted in October 2021. While around 20 percent of respondents stated to never consume drinking milk, almost 13 percent consumed it several times per day.
Apart from pasteurized cow's milk, drinking milk in Japan refers to a range of processed products such as nutrient fortified milk, low-fat milk, and milk with additional cream, among others.
