Number of newly registered cars in Turkey 2010-2022, by fuel type

As of 2022, the registered number of gasoline cars hit over 3.8 million, while the number of diesel cars got ahead of each type, with nearly 5.3 million. The newly registered electric-hybrid cars totaled around 149 thousand in 2022, marking a significant increase compared to the previous year.
