Number of National Health Insurance beneficiaries in South Korea 2021, by province
In 2021, around 13.8 million of South Koreans insured under the government's public health insurance program National Health Insurance lived in the province of Gyeonggi. A further 9.5 million lived in the capital city of Seoul. In South Korea, the number of people with public insurance are nearly identical to the total population.
