The biggest concern in the construction sector of the European Union (EU-27) was the shortage of labor, with 32.7 percent of respondents as of August 2022 mentioning that it was limiting their activities. This was followed by shortage of material and/or equipment, and insufficient demand, which were perceived as challenges by 22.6 and 20.1 percent of respondents, respectively. On the other hand, 29.7 percent of respondents found no constraints to their construction activities as of August 2022.
