Construction confidence indicator in the EU 2022

The confidence of the construction sector in the European Union had been slowly recovering after dropping to less than 22 percent due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, in early 2022 this indicator has been falling again, signaling that respondents expect construction activity to decline. Some of theleading construction companies in Europe are Vinci (France), ACS (Spain) and Bouygues (France).
