Infrastructure investment barriers EU and U.S. 2022

According to a 2022 survey, EU and United States infrastructure firms noted that the availability of skilled staff was the biggest barrier to their investment activities. Secondly, over three quarters of respondents saw uncertainty about the future and energy costs as an obstacle to their investments. Additionally, over half of respondents also mentioned business and labor regulations as an investment barrier. Similar concerns are present regarding investments in the construction sector.
