Between 2011 and 2017, value of initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Nasdaq stock exchange fluctuated. After 2018, increases in IPO values accelerated. In both 2020 and 2021, the size of IPO deals more than doubled compared to the previous year. Also, the highest deal value of all times was recorded in 2021, at 191.3 billion U.S. dollars.
