Online reviews for rental properties have become more common in recent years. On average, a multifamily rental property in the United States had approximately 115 online reviews in 2021, up from 57 in 2015. Some of the websites where renters review properties are Google, ApartmentRatings, Modern Message, ApartmentGuide.com, and Rent.com. Google accounted for the largest share of reviews, whereas Modern Message had the most positive reviews in 2021.
