In 2021, the planted area of rice paddies in Vietnam reached around 7.2 million hectares. In the same year, each hectare of such a paddy in Vietnam yielded around 60.6 quintals of rice. Vietnam is among the leading rice-producing and rice-exporting countries worldwide.
