Czechia: mobile internet use by age 2022

In the observed period, the use of the internet via cell phones increased significantly for all age groups in Czechia. The younger generations moved closer to a 100 percent penetration. However, most 65-year-olds and older did not have access to the internet via their cellphones.

CATI and CAPI survey types were used.

Survey for the year 2022 was carried out on 6779 individual persons aged 16+ and 4049 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households.

The value is the percentage of the total number of Czechs aged 16+ in the given year and of the given age.
*Only access to the internet via a cellphone is counted.
