Market share of search engines in Czechia 2015-2022
In the observed period, Google increased its lead as the search engine with the largest market share in Czechia. At the beginning of 2015, it had roughly 75 percent, but as of December 2022, this share increased to 83.4 percent. Accordingly, the market share of the second-largest Czech search engine - Seznam, slowly decreased over time. In January 2015, it still had a 20.43 percent market share, but as of December 2022, this figure dropped to 10.8 percent, declining by almost half. The share of the other engines fluctuated except for YANDEX RU, as its market share dropped to zero, yet Yandex was still active in Czechia.
