Czechia: repurposing ICT devices 2022

According to a survey from the second quarter of 2022, most Czechs kept their cell phones at home when they stopped using them. The same could be said for laptops or tablets, although many people also gave them to a household member or either sold or donated them. On the other hand, desktop computers were mostly taken to be recycled.

CATI and CAPI survey types were used.

Survey for the year 2022 was carried out on 6779 individual persons aged 16+ and 4049 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households.

Percentage points missing to or exceeding 100 percent are probably due to rounding.
