Share of votes in the 2nd round of 2022 presidential elections in Brazil, by region
Out of the more than 118 million valid votes cast in the runoff of the Brazilian presidential elections held on 30 October 2022, Lula da Silva, candidate for the Workers' Party (PT), received roughly 60.35 million ballots, equivalent to 50.9 percent of the total. He gathered the largest share of votes in the Northeastern region, where nearly 70 percent of voters opted for Lula as the next president. By contrast, Bolsonaro obtained his best result in the South region of Brazil, with 61.8 percent of ballots.
