Mobile phone ownership rate in Georgia 2016-2022
Over 88 percent of the Georgian population owned a mobile phone in July 2022, up nearly 10 percent from June 2016. The mobile phone ownership rate in the country has generally followed an upward trend, except the year 2021 when the figure slightly decreased relative to the previous year. The share of population owning a smartphone was somewhat lower, at 74 percent in July 2022.
