According to a survey on ethical consumer decisions conducted in 2021 in Australia, companies were seen to have the largest responsibility to take action on issues within the fashion industry, with an average of 68 percent respondents agreeing to this. In particular, many respondents believed companies were responsible for safe working conditions.
