Share of thrown-out food according to households in Czechia 2016-2023
The share of people wasting no food in Czechia decreased in the observed period. While in 2016, almost a fourth of respondents said they waste no food, this share dropped to only 11 percent in 2022. However, in 2023 it rose to 16 percent. The percentage of those wasting more than 10 percent of their food, but less than 25 percent, decreased by eight percent between 2022 and 2023.
