Value of bank deposits in banking sector top 5, and 10 banks in Egypt 2022
As of late 2022, the aggregate value of deposits in the Egyptian banking sector amounted to over 8.56 trillion Egyptian pounds (around 277.03 billion U.S. dollars). The top five banks in the country held almost 70.1 percent of the deposits, while some 78 percent of the deposits were held by the leading 10 banks in the country.
