The Nordic energy company Fortum + Partners was the leading wind power energy investor in Russia, having installed over 1.1 gigawatts under the capacity supply agreement (CSA) for renewable energy sources (RES) as of July 2023. Furthermore, the company planned to install approximately 1.7 gigawatts of wind power capacity in the country under CSA 1.0 and CSA 2.0 by 2035. NovaWind, the division of Russia's Federal Agency for Atomic Energy Rosatom, came in the second place.
