About This Statistic
The statistic shows Russia's oil production from 1998 to 2015. In 2005, the world's second largest oil exporter produced around 9.6 million barrels of oil daily. According to the source, oil production includes crude oil, shale oil, oil sands, and NGLs (natural gas liquids - the liquid content of natural gas in which the condensate is recovered separately). It excludes liquid fuels from other sources such as biomass and coal derivatives.
