With nearly 1.5 thousand cancer cases per 100 thousand population, the age group most affected by cancer in Russia in 2021 was that of 70-to-74-year-olds. The least affected group concerned children aged between five and nine. Over a third of cancer cases were diagnosed in the first stage of the disease in the country in 2021.
