Active detection of a malignant neoplasm can take place during:
1) mass preventive examinations at enterprises;
2) compulsory medical examination of certain groups of the adult population;
3) examination at parademical points;
4) screening programs (mammography, cytoscreening).
5) dispensary examinations of patients who were under dispensary observation of doctors of the general medical network;
6) in-depth examinations for the presence of oncological diseases in persons who were hospitalized for other illnesses.

Prior to 2022, figures refer to patients first taken under dispensary observation.
