Russia: last mammologist visit by age

Around a fifth of Russian women admitted to have never been to a mammologist for a preventive checkup, according to a survey conducted in December 2021. The share of respondents who had never had a preventive breast examination was especially high among respondents aged 18 to 24 years, at 41 percent. Breast cancer was the leading type by first-diagnosed cases in the country in 2021.
