GenAI use in newsrooms as supportive or to improve quality worldwide 2023
A global survey revealed that 50 percent of responding newsroom executives viewed GenAI tools as something that would serve more of a supportive role in the newsroom, with only eight percent perceiving AI as a way to improve quality. However, just under 40 percent said they could imagine it fulfilling both roles.
