#BookTok impact on reading books in the U.S. by state 2023

According to the results of an 2023 survey, #BookTok had the most impact on TikTok users' book reading in Maine, where 80 percent of respondents said that they were reading more books as a result of #BookTok. The app had less impact in the South, with less than 40 percent of TikTok users from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Alabama reporting that they were reading more.
