Digital channels used for money transfers in Portugal 2022, by age
In Portugal, in 2022, people aged between 15 and 34 used MB Way as a channel for transferring money, with those aged between 15 and 24 using it at a share of more than 71 percent. People aged between 35 and 54 years old preferred internet or mobile banking. Respondents 65 years of age or older mostly used Multibanco ATMs for making money transfers, at a share of more than 37 percent.
