Share of property sales due to emigration from South Africa 2023, by price bracket
In the second quarter of 2023, the aggregated emigration-related property sales stabilized at around nine percent. Properties in the price bracket of 2.6 to 3.6 South African million rand (approximately 140.000 to 193.000 U.S. dollars) had the largest share of sales at 19 percent. In the previous two quarters, this price range also experienced the highest percentage of sales.
