Leading global lead mines 2022, based on production volume
The Castellanos Project located in Cuba was the world's largest lead mine as of 2022. Owned by GeoMinera, the Castellanos Project produced nearly 125,000 metric tons of lead that year. In a close second place at that time was the Cannington Mine in Australia, owned by South32. The Carrington Mine produced nearly 121,000 metric tons that year.
