Opinion and forecast about current housing situation in Portugal 2023
In December 2023, almost 68 percent of respondents in Portugal agreed that housing interest rates will drop during 2024 and more than 56 percent declared that their expectations regarding buying and selling a house were not met in 2023. In terms of the number of transactions, almost 46 percent of respondents believed that these will stagnate, while 40 percent stated that house prices will remain the same as in 2023.
