Number of acquisitions of lodgings by the institutional sector in Portugal 2019-2022

In Portugal, the number of accommodation facilities acquired by the institutional sector amounted to 23.2 thousand, in 2019, and rose to almost 24 thousand in 2021, after a considerable decrease registered in 2020. In 2022, they amounted to 22.4 thousand, which represented a decrease of 6.5 percent compared to the previous year.
