Portugal: volume of housing loans 2023

In Portugal, the amount of new loans for residential properties with a variable interest rate indexed to 12-month Euribor has decreased during the period considered. In January 2022, the volume amounted to 69.4 percent, while, in November 2023, it stood at 38.9 percent. The lowest figure was registered in December 2022 at 19.4 percent.
