EU: clean energy manufacturing capacity shares 2022

The European Union accounted for approximately 18 percent of the global installed manufacturing capacity for heat pumps as of 2022. If all announced projects materialized, this share would increase to 36 percent by 2030. By comparison, the EU's share of wind manufacturing operations is projected to reduce slightly in this period if all globally announced projects came to fruition.
