Renewable energy mix of the European Union 2013-2018

Between 2013 and 2016, hydropower was the main renewable source in the 28 European members electricity mix. From 2017 onnwards, wind power became the major renewable source in the EU-28, generating 377.5 terawatt hours worth of electricity in 2018. In the same year, ocean and geothermal power were the renewable sources with the lowest electricity generation, with 0.5 and 6.7 terawatt hours, respectively.
